OPPOSITION TO PARKING METERS AT MONTMORENCY STATION HEATS UP
Eltham Labor MP Vicki Ward has submitted petitions from Montmorency residents opposing Banyule Council’s proposal to install parking meters near the train station in Montmorency.
More than 180 residents signed the petition, which called on Banyule to rule out parking meters for Montmorency.
Ms Ward this week visited Banyule Council to deliver the petitions.
Council will consider the petition at its next ordinary meeting, on Monday July 16.
